Original Bonsai in Dawes collection.  This tree needed some attention
and a new style.
At the Dawes Arboretum Bonsai Workday 2007, several members from
the local Pun-Ching and Columbus Club showed  up to help dawes
work on their collection trees.  Here John Hill and Myself start on this
Little Leaf Boxwood.
The tree started out with a whirl of 6 branches all originating from the
same location.  Instinctively we both knew that it had to come to one.
We removed all but the two, pausing to make sure that we could not
make use of this one last branch before giving it the hack...
Still pondering
the old paper towel method, now you see it... now you don't...
We both along with all the onlookers agree, "Chop IT", we found a new
pot form the dawes stash, and sized it up...
This was all done from start to finish, not more than 15-20 min... Not that
I am advocating cut before you think, it was just an obvious solution.  A
new pot, new trim, a new Bonsai... Now with some detailed wiring on the
crown to pull the branch's more horizontal this will be a nice Literati.
